Fun Stuff!

Our Fall 2003 meeting was hosted by Susan Burke and Jane Mahoney of MasterCard. It took place December 10th and 11th at MasterCard's HQ in Purchase, NY.

We met:

MasterCard's modern architecture contrasts with these superb trees near the building's entrance.

This blue sky marked our departure. It poured through much of our meeting.

Judy Issokson led off with an update on Solectron's leadership initiatives.

Host Susan Burke. She and Jane Mahoney, with top notch support from Desiree McQueen, made us feel welcome and spoiled.

Clockwise, Dennis Callahan from The Hartford, Pat Golden from Freddie Mac, and Ken Hall from Pfizer.

Judy and Jane Mahoney.

Clockwise, Ken Hall, Pfizer's Val Finkeldie, and Bank of New York's Sonia Orrico.

Beaming in from the Starship Enterprise... Speakerphone technology worked well, allowing several members to participate who were unable to travel. These included Mike Dickinson at The SCOOTER Store, Craig Hall at USAA, and Malcolm Roberts and Diane Blair from the Bank of Montreal.

Pat Golden making a point.

Agilent's Pat Ross.

We dined.

After an unscheduled tour by van of Port Chester, NY (our van driver got lost), Susan treated us to dinner at F.I.S.H. - the Fox Island Seafood House. The food was superb, continuing STEP's long oral tradition.

See the happy diners? Clockwise, Judy Issokson, Susan Burke, Par Ross, Sonia Orrico, Russ Sharp (Bank of Montreal), and Dennis Callahan.

Sonia and Russ (minus flash).

Sonia and Russ in the dark, Dennis and Pat G. in the light.

Malc, this shot's for you. The wines were as good as they looked, but you'll have to rely on Judy for their identification.
An "artsie" shot to end with: this a simple light fixture on the restaurant wall.
