On Wednesday, whoever has arrived by 7:00 P.M. is
welcome to gather informally in our hotel lobby. We'll find somewhere
close for a Dutch-treat dinner. If you arrive later, ask at the
front desk where we've gone.
On Thursday, July 17, we will begin our "formal"
meeting at 8:30 a.m., adjourning for the day at around 5:00 p.m.

On Friday, July 18, we'll meet from 8:30 until noon.
Those who don't have to rush off to the airport are welcome to stay
for lunch and informal conversation. We'll have the meeting room

We'll be staying at the Hotel Sofitel,
about 15 minutes away from our meeting location on Sun's Menlo Park
campus. We have reserved a block of 15 rooms for up to 3 nights
(from July16th - July18th) at the Sun Microsystems rate of $185.00
per night.

department needs to make your reservations through Russell Marsh
of Sun's global hotel department: Russell.Marsh@sun.com
- 303-547-3675. Have a credit card handy and mention "STEP EVENT"
for reservations confirmations. You can do this as
late as a day or two before we meet. Note: without the Sun discount
the room rate is roughly double.
