Hazel and her big cat "tombola" prize. Shame she smudged her dalmation face! |
|
The cat has been a constant companion since, taking up much of the room in her bed. |
|
December 14th. We bought our Christmas tree yesterday and it is now decorated. |

Hazel is thrilled with her new Cinderella dressing up -- a present for practicing so hard for the school show. We went to her nativity play Friday morning. It was really good! We were amazed at the quality and tunefulness (??) of the singing. The Year 2s sat in front in their school jumpers and formed the bulk of the chorus while the Year 1s and Reception acted out the story. Everyone remembered their lines and songs and no one cried! They had been practicing for about two months solid. |

Christmas! |

The clothes that Hazel is holding up are from a batch that my mom and aunt sewed to accompany the American Girl doll. Hazel has named her doll Alice. |

Santa brought Hazel a paint your own plate, cup and bowl. They are now all painted in a zigzag pattern and I have baked them ready for use. |

Hazel's new doll, Alice, was a big hit. |
