December 10th. Playing a pitch pipe tune. Christmas carols? Elizabeth says, "We put up our little Christmas tree and bought some lights for the living room. Hazel really likes them. 'mrissmriss yights' as she calls them. She's getting good at spotting them in houses from the car." |
Stockings hung. Is the big one Hazel's? |
Story time with Grandma Eileen. |

December 14th. Elizabeth says, "It was the Christmas production at nursery this afternoon and what a production it was! I've never seen/heard so many children crying all at once, poor things. I think the sight of all those parents overwhelmed them. Hazel was OK, then crying and then OK again once she was sat in the nursery manager's lap.The trouble really came after the show when I wanted to take her costume off and put her clothes back on. Boy did she not want that dress taken off! Big tears and tantrums. David is attending tomorrow afternoon as I'm going to my work's Christmas do, so I hope he has an easier time of it than I did. |
