Visit to Connecticut

Hazel was a good sport about the long flight from England.

Elizabeth and Hazel arrive at Newark airport, on their way to Marlborough, CT.

Hanging out, Wednesday evening.

Thursday morning, bright and early.

Breakfast at Diane's in Westchester, CT.

Hazel decided that Calvin was okay, thought she still wasn't so sure about Marley.

Story time.

Yup, Calvin was okay. Even allowed his tail to be held.

Friday morning. TV remote makes a good cell phone toy.

Warm temps and plenty of leaves to scuff.

That oak leaf was huge!

The neighbor's swing set was a hit.

Nap time!

With neighbor Jason Robitialle.

Hand and foot prints in plaster of Paris. (She's not naked; she just looks that way.)

A trip to the library and pictures posed by their firebush.

Willie enjoyed playing with the strings on Hazel's bib.

On Saturday, November 5th, we visited
Mystic Aquarium
, and
downtown Mystic
.

Sunday, November 6th, we spent the morning around Marlborough. David tried out Ian's new bike.

Hazel tried it too, but needs to grow a bit.

Next we tried out the hot tub. David and Elizabeth: Hmm, new bike or a hot tub; which comes first to Congleton?

David and Elizabeth gave me some Scottish ales for my birthday. Cheers!

Hazel got a swimming lesson as David blew bubbles.

Hazel enjoyed playing with a fallen leaf.

And Ian finally got to try the "Mentos Explosion" experiment. (It worked!)
