After touring the Aquarium, we joined David & Elizabeth's friends, Amie & Michael - and their friendly basset hounds Bailey and Jessica - for a walk through downtown Mystic, Connecticut.

Similar to the "Cow Parade" events in other places, Mystic displayed decorated whales. Hazel's sitting on one honoring basketball star Michael Jordan (number 23).

We stopped for ice cream...

...which Hazel really enjoyed.

As did the hounds.

We watched the Route 1 bridge go up to allow some boats to pass by.

Heading back to the cars.

A group of swans came near as we were preparing to leave.
