On the promenade at Portobello beach, a suburb of Edinburgh. The bear that Hazel is carrying is called Big Ted. He is nursery's bear that all the children take turns bringing home and sharing experience with. We will be filling in his diary with notes on our trip and photos.

At the Edinburgh Zoo, Hazel pretends to be an elephant.

Edinburgh Zoo has a few playgrounds dotted around which Hazel really enjoyed. She was thrilled at being brave enough to climb to the top of the green ladder.

We brought back Polar Bear Poo (chocolate-covered raisins) for the kids at nursery to enjoy.
