Hazel is obsessed with 'dancing dresses' again and wears one or another every day. Trousers don't get a look in anymore.

Cold face. "Brrr."

Hot face. "Pfew!"

The biggest of Hazel's sunflowers. Most of the seeds she and David planted germinated so we have dwarf sunflowers dotted around in the front garden and in containers in the back garden. I think next summer we will go for full-size giants.

Camping at Keswick.

"The view from the campsite was nice (apart from the mobile phone mast which I kept out of shot!)."

"We enjoyed our boat ride around Derwentwater. We only stopped once, at St Nichol's End, and enjoyed watching the sail boats and kayakers setting off."

"David bought Hazel a bright yellow scooter complete with flame stickers and flashing red lights. Big hit! There is one scooter at nursery that all the children compete for, so Hazel was thrilled to have one of her own. 'Hazel's scooter, not boys. My scooter'."

Life is good with a Chauffeur.
