Friday, March 7th

On another after-breakfast walk, I found this flower (morning glory?) growing right out of the sand. (Certainly morning glory family: Convolvulaceae)

 

Oy spotted this crab fighting with a bird.

Saturday, March 8th

I spotted two cheeky monkeys hiding behind my chair.

One little monkey tried to run away when she was spotted.

Sign in reception clears up the durian issue.

We took a taxi down the road to the Underwater World Langkawi. Unfortunately the camera battery was running very low so I only took this one picture of Hazel posing with an Emperor penguin.

Back at the resort we checked into a hospitality room to shower and change before starting the long journey home. Hazel sat down on the floor and was chatting to us while we finished getting ready. She fell fast asleep, almost mid-sentence.
