Possible home of Lieutenant Thomas Greene and his wife, Lydia Kilbourne, in North Waterford, Maine.

This picture is not identified but resembles a watercolor sketch of the Greene homestead on display in the Warren home across the street from its location. According to members of the North Waterford Historical Society, the home currently on the site of Thomas' homesite is said to contain elements of the original (1788 or so) dwelling.

Below is a snapshot of the home on the Thomas Greene homesite as it appears today. If any portion of this home was part of the original dwelling, it is probably the center section. The home today is owned by the Kimball family. I'm told a large barn, located to the left, was taken down not long ago and its timbers sent off to Portland for use in construction of a new structure there.
