Photographing the Air Line Trail - Presentation and Gallery Show
The Connecticut Audubon Society center at Glastonbury has asked me to do an evening presentation to accompany my Gallery Show which will be on exhibit from March 23rd through May 6th.

I'll share a tour of the Air Line Trail and discuss camera equipment, shooting conditions, composition, some basic technical issues, macro work, editing, and advanced techniques.

Nature Photography on the Air Line Trail
The UConn Ecology & Evolutionary Biology department asked me to do a presentation for their off-campus seminar series.
I'll share a tour of the Air Line Trail, present a gallery of (mostly) trail photos, and discuss camera equipment, shooting conditions, composition, some basic technical issues, macro work, editing, and advanced techniques.

Quiet Corner Camera Club presents "Along the Air Line..."
On April 20th, 2010, I presented a slide show of Air Line Trail photos through the seasons, highlighting the wildlife and plants to be seen along the trail, and discussing the techniques of nature photography.
The show kicked off at 7:00 P.M. at the Buchanan Center in Mansfield, CT. The Center is on Route 89 just east of the junction with Route 195.

Nature Photography 101
The Community Wildlife of Colchester group asked me to present a class on the basics of nature photography. It was held at Colchester's Cragin Memorial Library on January 6th, 2010, from 7:00-8:30. Sixtytwo people attended.
I shared photos taken on the Air Line Trail and discussed camera features, shooting conditions, composition, some basic technical issues (ISO, speed, and aperture), macro work, editing, printing, and sharing.
