Violet (Viola sp.)

Cultivated Daffodils at the Route 85 trailhead.

April 26th. Late afternoon. Violet (Viola sp.)

Fertile stem of Field Horsetail (Equisetum arvense).

Vegetative stem of the Field Horsetail.

Sweet White Violet (Viola blanda).

Flowers are roughly 3/8" across.

Rue-Anenome (Anemonella thalictroides).

Toothwort (Dentaria diphylla).

May 3rd. Dwarf Ginseng (Panax trifolius) is blooming on the basnks of Raymond Brook.

The invasive Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii) is also in flower along the trail.
